In this role, you'll create, validate, and troubleshoot CMM and vision system programs, and perform high-precision inspections including FAIs to ensure products meet all specifications. You will support Engineering and New Product Development with early measurement evaluations, GD&T reviews, and metrology feedback. BEVERLY, Massachusetts job type: Permanent salary: $72,800•85,280 per year work hours: 7am to 3pm education: High School responsibilities: Program and operate CMMs and vision systems using part drawings or models in accordance with GD&T and metrology principles. Perform inspections and take critical measurements using gauges, fixtures, and other measurement tools. Validate and verify CMM and vision system programs to ensure accuracy and repeatability. Troubleshoot and revise existing CMM programs as needed. Provide inspection support across departments, including performing part inspections and First Article Inspections (FAIs). Assist operators, inspectors, and engineers with quality-related questions and issue resolution. Train inspectors and technicians on inspection processes, equipment, and procedures. Collaborate with Quality Engineering to verify accuracy of set-ups and inspection programs. Lead or participate in projects related to tooling, fixtures, and gauges. Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles. Work with team members to evaluate and improve efficiency in inspection processes. Perform other related duties as assigned.
