We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated IT Server Technician to join our client's support team onsite in Latham, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in an enterprise environment and excellent problem-solving skills. The IT Server Technician will be responsible all functions related to the server both OS and hardware. Will also provide support to client employees, both remote and local, to ensure the seamless operation of technology systems and equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for all functions related to server both OS and hardware Provide (remote) first / second-line technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner, escalating problems as needed Collaborate with other IT team members to implement and maintain IT policies and procedures Create and maintain documentation for IT processes, procedures, and configurations Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in IT support

Skills and Qualifications:

Must have strong experience supporting servers Proven experience in IT support or a related role in an enterprise environment Proficient in configuring and maintaining Windows operating systems, with additional knowledge of Linux / WSL. MacOS as a plus Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and hardware Excellent remote troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience with IT security practices and protocols Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a regulated environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills $35.00 - $38.00 per hour We offer a comprehensive benefit package that you can elect into including but not limited to: Health Insurance (Medical, Vision, Dental), 401k, Basic Life / AD&D, Supplemental Insurances Plans, Paid Time Off Plan, Paid Holiday, Paid Sick Leave plan, FSA / HSA Pre-Tax Benefits, Employee Discounts.
