Job Description

Electrician Job Description We are seeking a skilled electrician to join our project team. The role involves a significant focus on running conduit, installing cables, installing boxes, and running electrical lines, accounting for 50-70% of the work. The position also requires installing, troubleshooting, and performing preventive maintenance on plant equipment including corrugators, automatic valves, transmitters, regulators, DCS, and overhead cranes. Responsibilities Run conduit and install electrical lines, cables, and boxes. Install, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment. Troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs. Perform instrumentation and calibration of equipment. Replace and rewire DC Motors, particularly 480V. Repair and setup Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs). Interpret ladder logic and schematics, as well as hydraulic and pneumatic drawings. Essential Skills 2+ years of high-level electrician experience. Experience with changing valves and transmitters. Effective troubleshooting of PLCs. High School Diploma. Post-high school education, volunteer work, or relevant certifications.
