We treat chronic illness and allergy by taking a patient centered, integrative approach using assessment and in depth specialty testing to isolate root causes for chronic illness. Our team of Medical Doctors, Physician's Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners work together with our team of medical support staff to assess and treat the whole patient. We are seeking a full-time Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse with IV skills to support our patients and providers. Frequent tasks include supporting IV staff by assessing IV patients prior to IV insertion/throughout IV administration as needed, phone triage, giving in office injections and training patients to give at-home subcutaneous injections, managing standard and compounded medication prescriptions, backing up our allergy department and supporting our lab. Accuracy, attention to detail, critical thinking skills, comfort with patient education and teaching, calm demeanor, and ability to multi-task are essential for this job. Excellent interpersonal skills are required as you will work as a member of a team and interact closely with patients. Prior work in a medical setting and IV skills are required. The position is 35-40 hours/week with medical and dental benefits, vacation, and sick time.
The schedule is as follows:
Mon, Tues, Thurs 8:30-5:00pm, Wed 11:00-7:00pm, Fri 830-12:00pm.
