Job Summary:
Kayser Automotive Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our team in Watertown, Wisconsin. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the auto industry. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks on vehicles to ensure customer satisfaction and the safety of our clients. This is a salaried position with a competitive hourly rate of $45 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, retirement savings plans, and paid time off.Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, and electrical issues Inspect vehicles to identify potential problems and ensure safety standards are met Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot issues and complete repairs Communicate with customers to explain needed repairs and provide cost estimates Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper handling of hazardous materials Keep accurate records of all repairs and services performed Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and technical changes Maintain a clean and organized work areaRequirements:
High school diploma or equivalent At least 2 years of experience as an automotive service technician Valid driver's license and clean driving record ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification preferred -MUSTBE LEVEL
2 or 3 Certified with Stellantis Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Knowledge of automotive systems and repairs Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time Excellent communication and customer service skills Attention to detail and time management skillsEEOC Statement:
