SciTec has an immediate opportunity for a talented Infrastructure Procurement Specialist in our Boulder, CO office. This position will be responsible for the planning and executing of requisitions, ensuring that purchase orders get placed in a timely manner, and expediting any orders to meet our program needs. Responsibilities Procurement Plans and executes procurement, strategic sourcing, and vendor management activities and operations in compliance with corporate policies, applicable law, and effective cost management principles Fosters collaborative relationships both internally with stakeholders and externally with prospective and current vendors Manage, track and report on supplier requisitions and purchase orders. Resolve receiving and invoice issues. Manage non-conforming material returns to suppliers and close non-conformances. Property Management Perform regular physical inventory of Government Property. Update electronic property record during physical inventory scanning Update property records when new information is received from users, custodians, and project managers in a timely manner Identify Government Property by screening incoming and outgoing shipments. Assign Government Property to contracts in electronic property record by correctly identifying cost accounting code or other qualifying attributes of the property. Perform disposition activities of Government Property Assist Shipping & Receiving personnel by identifying and facilitating receival of Government Furnished Property Research and identify the purpose for Government Furnished Property and document in accordance with existing policies and procedures. Prepare shipping documents (DD250, DD1149, BOL, labels, etc.) Other duties as assigned Requirements High School Diploma and 3+ years' work experience or equivalent experience. Each higher-level related degree, i.e., Bachelor's or Master's, may substitute for two years of related experience. Basic knowledge of FAR, DFAR and government property regulations Highly Motivated Individual who pays attention to detail and is organized. Ability to execute/oversee the planning and procurement of computer systems. Work effectively in a team environment Business acumen with excellent written, verbal, and listening skills. Ability to successfully interface with suppliers. Proven problem solving capabilities Ability to make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations. Prior Procurement experience is preferred Excellent verbal communication skills, experience working with cross-functional teams, and presenting to leadership Must be able to obtainDOD TS/SCI
