Full Job Description Company Overview :
Advantage Converting is a precision die cutting and converting company located in the heart of Silicon Valley. We specialize in manufacturing for the medical, electronics, and green energy industries, working with engineers and businesses that are making a difference in the world. Our team is hardworking, reliable, and interactive, and we expect the highest quality of work.

We are currently seeking experienced converting technicians who can operate and maintain complex equipment, ensure the highest quality standards, and contribute to the development of innovative products in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Duties & Responsibilities :
Operate converting equipment, including laminators, punch presses, slitters, rotary die presses, and others. Manufacture products and services with the highest level of quality and efficiency. Produce assigned products in accordance with verbal and written instructions. Set up equipment according to customer specifications and quality procedures. Maintain accurate documentation, including inspection results and other required records. Ensure the correct and accurate completion of documents using good documentation practices. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment adhering to quality and company policies. Assist with product development as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned. Maintain high standards of quality, a strong work ethic, and professional conduct.
Skills & Qualifications :
Minimum 3 years of direct experience in die cutting, laminating, slitting, rotary die pressing, or related fields. Experience in machine set-ups according to customer specifications and quality procedures. Troubleshoot equipment and material issues Strong mechanical abilities. Basic math skills, including measurement conversions. Ability to read, write, and speak in English. Effective communication skills with all levels within the company. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently. Ability to spend 100% of the day on the plant production floor. Experience in a fabrication/converting environment is required. Familiarity with
ISO 13485
standards is preferred. Knowledge of
ISO 9001
is a plus. Experience with clean room policies and procedures is desirable.
