Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced dental assistant with strong front desk and communication skills to join our team. This role primarily involves clinical duties, supporting our doctors with various dental procedures, including digital restorative dentistry, root canals, extractions, and bone grafts. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for front desk tasks such as checking patients out after their visit, collecting payments, scheduling appointments, and presenting treatment plans.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist dentists during clinical procedures, including digital restorative dentistry, root canals, extractions, and bone grafts
  • Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for procedures
  • Take digital impressions and X-rays as needed
  • Provide excellent patient care and ensure patient comfort throughout their visit
  • Manage front desk duties, including checking patients out, collecting payments, scheduling appointments, and presenting treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations of the office
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a dental assistant
  • Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred
  • Strong clinical skills and familiarity with digital restorative dentistry, root canals, extractions, and bone grafts
  • Proficiency in using CEREC, digital imaging, and digital impressions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance billing
  • Front desk experience, including scheduling appointments and presenting treatment plans, is required
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work 30-36 hours per week on average
