Non-Exempt A brand new premier dental office in Kalispell, Montana is looking for a fun, outgoing and successful Dental Assistant. This is a vital position for the office and we're looking for someone who is wanting to work hard and provide the best dental care possible with a smile and compassion.ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Help achieve day to day clinical operations. Provides high quality dental care in accordance with national guidelines to all patients. Ensures quality customer service to all patients. Works closely with other dental assistants and 406 team to ensure patient visits processed in timely manner. Assist doctor with treatment and dental work.SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Skilled in the use of standard dental office equipment including: Autoclave, model trimmer, X-ray machine, ultrasonic, Oxygen cart, Vacu-press, and hand pieces. Knowledge of cross contamination and how to prevent it. Knowledge of and abides byOSHA/HIPPA
regulations and changes. Ability to take radiographs, including FMX, BW's and anterior PA's. Expert in speaking English, along with grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Skilled in the use of standard office equipment including: telephones, calculators, copiers, computers, and computer software (MS Excel, Word, Dentrix). Ability to engender trust from the doctors, co-workers, and patients. Ability to work cooperatively with management, staff, and patients. Ability to prioritize, organize, and complete tasks in a timely and independent manner. Ability to accept and give constructive criticism. Ability to collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and maintain confidentiality. Ability to communicate and express thoughts and ideas competently.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 1 year(s) relevant experience as a successful dental assistant.Special Requirements/Certifications/Licenses:
Valid X-ray certificate a plus! CPR & first aid certificate a plusPHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
May be required to lift up to 20 lbs. or to roll a 90-pound machine on wheels from one area to another. Hand-eye coordination and hand, arm, and finger mobility for detailed work with objects.Active movement throughout the day:
