- Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Use power tools and hand tools to perform tasks such as pipe threading, pipe cutting, and pipe welding.
- Interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and repair of plumbing systems.
- Perform field service calls to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Work effectively with other tradespeople, including HVAC technicians, to ensure seamless completion of projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to prevent and identify plumbing issues before they become major problems.
- Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in construction plumbing, preferably in a residential or commercial setting.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools.
- Strong understanding of plumbing schematics and blueprints.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve heavy lifting, bending, and crawling.
