  • Local 100 is seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing Technician to join our team.
As a Plumbing Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial / Industrial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction plumbing and be proficient in using a variety of tools and equipment. We offer top pay, plus benifits including:

  • Duties
  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
  • Use power tools and hand tools to perform tasks such as pipe threading, pipe cutting, and pipe welding.
  • Interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and repair of plumbing systems.
  • Perform field service calls to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Work effectively with other tradespeople, including HVAC technicians, to ensure seamless completion of projects.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to prevent and identify plumbing issues before they become major problems.
  • Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in construction plumbing, preferably in a residential or commercial setting.
  • Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools.
  • Strong understanding of plumbing schematics and blueprints.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve heavy lifting, bending, and crawling.
