As a Manufacturing Technician, you'll handle system assembly, integration, Build and Functional Verification (BFV) testing, and troubleshooting automated control systems, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.Key Responsibilities:
Build automated control systems and sensors then conduct Functional Verification testing Assembly, cabling, programming controllers' systems and debugging automated bioreactor systems based on Emerson Delta V platform. Assembling, modifying and debugging major subsystems Building TruLogic (Delta V) Modifying, upgrading, and debugging control towers Building and testing SUB agitators, sensor transmitters Programming transmitters and controllers Building cables, hoses, etc. as needed Building, testing and modifying Mass Flow Controller Assemblies Stage systems for integration and testing Support validation and Factory Acceptance Testing as needed Support Production Planning Work Order requirements parts issued etc. Work with teams in Integration, Validation, Quality, Logistics and Engineering to ensure that quality, waste and efficiency are meeting the requirements. Able to lift 25-30 lbs. unassisted Additional assemblies and job-related duties required.Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; AS Electronics degree or technical training preferred\Technical Certification/Licenses Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years in a similar system level production environment for assembly and testing Knowledgeable of equipment and methods of assembly and test processes of electromechanical assemblies Experience working with complex assembly then testing, work instructions, assembly layout drawings and wirings schematics diagrams, work orders, Bill of Materials (BOMs) and complete equipment travelers.Skills:
Excellent verbal communications and technical writing skills Self-motivated while possessing the ability to work in a team environment or independently Basic computer setup, navigation keyboarding Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point) Production floor work environment - job duties may include standing, bending, kneeling, reaching overhead, lying down and using elevated surfaces to access certain sections of the control systemsAbout Thermo Fisher Scientific:
