Job Description:
AMETEK LMS
is seeking an RMA Specialist to join our team. RMA Specialists work with customers and technicians to evaluate if products can be validated, repaired, or replaced. If you are in interested in joining a collaborative, detailed-oriented team, this is may be your next job! In this role, you will: Test, repair, calibrate products to meet manufacturing specifications. Communicate Return Material Authorizations (RMA) evaluation information to customers or representatives. Communicate RMA evaluation information to customers. Process, prioritize, and answer customer emails and telephone calls providing high quality service. Authorize and issue RMAs with guidance from the service team. Receive all RMA returned materials and document in the business system related to RMAs (Salesforce). Evaluate product(s) to validate customer claims. Perform testing functions, with guidance from the service team. Assist with coordination of safety recalls/ notices. Solicit and provide information related to import/ export compliance. Other duties as assigned. To be successful in this role, you will have: High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree or technical diploma in instrumentation, electronics, related field, or equivalent military training (preferred) Good verbal and written communication skills Experience with Microsoft Office. 1-3 years' experience troubleshooting, repairing, testing electronic equipment (preferably in the instrumentation industry). 1-3 years of industry related knowledge and experience (electronics/ electromechanical). Skilled in use of electronic tools - multimeter, oscilloscope, power supplies, capable of soldering/ de-soldering. Experience in performing proof pressure checks such as hydro-testing. Salesforce knowledge (preferred).
