- 32) Monday-Thursday 1st Shift
- 5AM-3:30PM We are seeking a Die Cast Process Technician to join our team!
What You Will Do:
Set up and monitor die casting and trim machines to ensure optimal performance. Follow standardized work instructions and safety procedures for all operations. Assist with machine process parameters at initial setup and during production runs. Diagnose and perform minor repairs on die cast and trim press machines, as well as robot gripper systems. Make and recommend process adjustments to improve productivity and quality. Repair water, hot oil, and minor hydraulic leaks on die equipment. Load and adjust robot programs as needed. Maneuver through Panel View on auto trim presses. Set and reset ladle programs per documented processes. Diagnose and troubleshoot die cast defects to maintain quality standards. Assist with die setups and ensure proper documentation is completed. Inspect parts visually to identify and correct defects. Accurately enter data into work order and quality systems. Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations across shifts. Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance efficiency and quality. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety regulations. Work cooperatively in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating company core values. Be available for overtime and emergency coverage as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs.What You Will Need:
High school diploma preferred. Basic math, reading, and writing skills. Experience operating die cast machinery or similar equipment. Basic computer skills for data entry and troubleshooting. Forklift, crane, and hoist certifications (or willingness to obtain). Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures and workplace safety regulations. Experience with shot monitoring systems and measuring equipment (calipers, tape measures, etc.). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to adapt to changing demands and work independently. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across shifts.
