division is currently seeking a Machinist. The hours of this role are 7:00am to 3:30pm The hourly rate for this position is $28.00-35.00 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you'll do: As a Machinist you will be responsible for operating and maintaining advanced machining equipment to produce high-quality aerospace parts and components. You will work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure that all machining tasks are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires a high level of expertise and experience in aerospace machining operations, as well as a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.- Set up and operate various types of machining equipment, including lathes, mills, grinders, CNC machines, brand saw, and drill press.
- Inspect finished aerospace parts to ensure they meet stringent quality standards and specifications.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while operating machinery.
- Follow written work instructions, able to understand assembly blueprints, tooling blueprints and build procedures.
- Identify and resolve issues with processes that can lead to continue improvements.
- Work closely with engineers and other team members to optimize machining processes and improve productivity.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machining processes and reduce waste.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior machinists and other team members.
- Ability to manufacture tools, fixtures and parts from a blueprint.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications- Diploma from a technical high school or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of related experience required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. Preferred Qualifications- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
