Compensation:
$60,000 - $100,000 at plan yearly
Responsibilities:
Stay abreast of any changes to rules or policies within the insurance agency to effectively amend insurance programs for existing and prospective clients Take ownership of ensuring there are accurate records of all necessary bookkeeping, client, and sales reports in order to track and communicate the status of assigned goals Develop risk management strategies for each customer to ensure his or her policy needs are continuously met Serve as an attentive listener when communicating with new and potential clients in order to accurately identify their unique needs prior to pursuing specific insurance sales Maintain a portfolio of existing customers and pursue insurance sales with new clients by using sales strategies that may include cold calling and networking Drive sales through digital marketing, phone, events, and in-person meetings. Obtain Property and Casualty, as well as Life and Health producer licenses. Work with our corporate partners in a professional setting. Attend marketing events to promote the Farm Bureau Insurance Company of Idaho. Provide exceptional customer service and solutions, while following through on policy updates.
Qualifications:
Job seekers must already have or be willing to get an insurance license Must be a superb communicator able to carefully analyze complex ideas like insurance programs; experience working in customer service is beneficial Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is required High school diploma required; bachelor's degree a plus College or equivalent work experience. Prior sales experience is strongly preferred. Organizational and time management skills. Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication ability. Success-driven, with a passion for sales and providing solutions. The ideal candidate has a great attitude and a desire to put the needs of clients first.
Licenses:
You will be required to be licensed in property, casualty, life, and health insurance before attending our paid training program. No license is needed to apply!
