Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented High Voltage Electrical Technician with experience in EV battery systems and Energy Storage Systems (ESS) . In this role, you will support the safe installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of high and low-voltage electrical systems. You'll work closely with engineers, project managers, and field teams on a variety of dynamic and high-impact projects across the U.S. This role reports directly to the Engineering Manager and requires hands-on technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Your industrial and commercial electrical background will contribute to the safe, timely, and quality execution of complex power and energy-related projects. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on EV batteries, high voltage packs, and ESS equipment Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical faults using tools such as voltmeters, multimeters, and diagnostic software Conduct high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical work in accordance with safety protocols and local electrical codes Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics to execute installations and repairs Support commissioning and decommissioning activities Maintain accurate documentation of service records, inspections, and safety reports Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and internal safety procedures Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve system reliability and performance Qualifications Valid Electrician Certification required; High Voltage certification or training highly preferred Minimum 3 years of experience working with industrial or commercial electrical systems Previous experience with EV batteries or ESS systems is a strong plus Familiarity with NFPA 70E, NEC, and electrical safety standards Ability to travel for short-term out-of-state projects as needed Comfortable working in various outdoor and indoor environments, including construction sites Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail, safety-first mindset, and critical thinking abilities High school diploma or GED required; technical school or military electrical training is a plus What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Health insurance stipend 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Training and career development opportunities Dynamic and supportive team environmentJob Type:
