This individual provides support to the financial department by handling full cycle accounts payable processing functions. We're looking immediately to get someone into this position! Perks of this opportunity! $26/hr - $30/hr Medical, Dental, and Vision Paid time off, plus all major holidays paid STD, LTD, and Life insurance Accounts Payable Position Responsibilities Handle invoice processing and discrepancies, vendor maintenance, and vendor payments. Ensure weekly and monthly processing deadlines are met. Verify approvals on all vendor invoices and check requests. Scan valid vendor invoices into an electronic workflow. Code invoices accurately to the general ledger accounts. Answer vendor inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns. Review and enter expense reports and credit card purchases. Manage weekly invoice hold reports and resolve discrepancies. Release approved invoices from payment hold to ensure timely vendor payments. Minimum Requirements of the Accounts Payable Specialist High school diploma or equivalent required . High school diploma or GED required 2+ years AP experience required . Oil & gas experience
