Pay for this opportunity will depend on qualifications. Police Recruit (PD1, 1)Starting Annualized Salary:
$38.13 ($79,310) Police Officer (PD2, 1-7) Starting Annualized Salary- Step 1: $39.66 ($82,500) The starting salary of certified officers is based on the previous experience level of the applicant as a full-time police officer. Basic Peace Officer Certification Lateral Transfer candidates are required to possess the following: Be in good standing with current/previous agency Certified Peace Officer with at least 3 years of experience in a progressive agency of comparable size to Coppell from any state Experience as a reserve officer, constable, military service, military police, and jailer is not accepted. Other desirable education/experience/knowledge/skillsets: Prior patrol duty experience TCOLE Advanced Certification Fluency in a language other than English Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, or a related field of study This isCoppell About Our Team:
