Job Summary:

The Quality Contril specialist will complete first article inspection of parts ensuring quality and quantity are matching orders and expectations.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Maintains and test all measuring equipment. Completes all first article inspections. Confirms receipts of warranty claims to customer, management, and customer service on all warranty issues. Keeps and maintains records of internal and external QC issues. Trains all staff on corrective actions and processes. Conducts sample checks on large run jobs, and individual short- run products before shipping against prints. Maintains a clean work area. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to safely and effectively QC products and implement corrective measures if needed. Ability to follow instructions. Ability to read, interpret, and follow product plans. Basic computer and math skills. Forklift training/experience recommended.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required. At least one year of experience in metal fabrication or related work preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Physically able to stand, and move about the shop and step up and down. Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.

$22.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
