In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time, while also managing various financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing:

Process bi-weekly payroll, including verifying timesheets, managing deductions and garnishments, and generating payroll reports. Update payroll changes submitted by HR and program services. Manage PTO balances and process HRA claims. Review quarterly 941 reports and annual W-2 reports.

Accounts Payable:

Process weekly AP payments, ensuring proper documentation and approvals. Prepare bank deposits, post AR and miscellaneous cash payments, and generate related reports. Record fixed asset acquisitions and disposals, and conduct biannual inventories.

Additional Duties:

Assist with year-end audits and provide backup support for office staff. Process mail, wage verifications, and distribute petty cash. Maintain bus ticket inventory and process sales and gas tax refunds. Perform various administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree preferred, high school diploma required. Minimum of 2 years of payroll experience. Experience with Paylocity payroll software is a plus. Strong understanding of FLSA and local/state labor laws. Knowledge of AP processing is beneficial. Proficient in computer data entry and math. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable transportation.
