Independent Licensed Insurance Agent Miller Family Consulting Westerville, OH 43082 • Hybrid work Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Agent to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing clients with comprehensive insurance solutions tailored to their needs. You will leverage your skills in sales and customer service to build strong relationships with clients, ensuring they understand their options and receive the best coverage available. Duties Analyze clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options. Communicate effectively with clients to explain policy details, benefits, and terms. Negotiate policy terms and conditions with underwriters to secure the best rates for clients. Conduct telemarketing efforts to generate new business leads and expand the client base. Manage sales administration tasks, including maintaining accurate records of client interactions and policy details. Engage in outside sales activities by meeting potential clients in person to discuss their insurance needs. Provide ongoing support to existing clients, addressing any questions or concerns regarding their policies. Stay informed about market trends and changes in the insurance industry to provide up-to-date advice. Skills Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to clients. Proficiency in benefits administration and understanding of various insurance products. Ability to analyze data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth. Experience in retail sales or outside sales is highly desirable. Excellent negotiation skills to advocate for clients' best interests. Familiarity with telemarketing techniques and strategies for lead generation.
