Bookkeeper and/or Accounts Payable Clerk Rainbow Market Reno, NV 89502
Job Title:
Bookkeeper and/or A/P Clerk We are seeking a detail oriented and experienced Bookkeeper and/or Accounts Payable Clerk with at least 2 years of on-the-job experience to join our accounting team. You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely and accurate payments, and assisting with other bookkeeping and accounting responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:
1.Financial Record Management:
- Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and daily sales records.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial documents.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
General Ledger Management:
- Manage the general ledger, including posting journal entries and maintaining chart of accounts.
- Review and print month-end and year-end financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
Tax Compliance:
- Prepare and file quarterly and annual tax returns.
- Stay up-to-date with tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Vendor Relations:
- Communicate with vendors regarding financial matters.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of bills.
Software Proficiency:
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Compliance and Audit:
- Assist in internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant bookkeeping or A/P experience.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$24.00- $29.
