Hourly pay range:
$22-54/hour depending on license, certifications and applicable skills and experience.
Work shift:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM As a Fire Sprinkler Service and Install Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, inspection, service, and/or repair of wet-pipe, dry-pipe, and pre-action fire sprinkler systems. Also responsible for ensuring high levels of accuracy of these responsibilities and working in accordance with applicable national and local Codes and Standards.
In this role you will:
Perform installation, service, and/or repair of wet-pipe, dry-pipe, and pre-action fire sprinkler systems Perform periodic inspections per National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 25 standards - internal piping inspections, obstruction investigations, flow tests, and hydro tests Provide accurate documentation through the use of Service Trade and state/local documentation as required Record and document all inspections, repairs, discrepancies, and recommendations Maintain a good positive relationship with the customer and pass on information to the appropriate personnel for follow-up, quotes, questions, or concerns
Requirements:
2-3 years' experience as a Fire Sprinkler Fitter High School diploma or equivalent WA Journeyman Fitters License, required ITT Certificate of Competency (Washington State Certification), required
NICET II
Water Based Systems certification, desirable, but not required Certificate of Fitness (COF) (Fire Sprinklers) desirable, but not required Oregon Backflow Assembly Tester Certification, desirable, but not required Washington Backflow Assembly Tester Certification, desirable, but not required Working knowledge of current codes and standards of fire sprinkler systems Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record This position may require occasional overnight work, emergency work and working on call
Working Conditions:
