We specialize in smog testing and auto repair services, ensuring vehicles are safe, efficient, and compliant with California's stringent emissions standards. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Smog and Auto Repair Technician (EI) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with specific expertise in smog testing and emissions-related diagnostics. •

Responsibilities:

•1. Perform smog inspections and emissions testing in accordance with California regulations. 2. Diagnose and repair vehicle emissions systems, including catalytic converters, oxygen sensors, and EGR valves. 3. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any mechanical or electrical issues. 4. Perform routine maintenance tasks. 5. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and repair automotive systems. 6. Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and service history. 7. Communicate effectively with customers regarding recommended repairs and maintenance services. 8. Stay up-to-date on the latest automotive technology and emissions regulations. 9. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. •

Qualifications:

•1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Valid California Smog Inspector license. 3. ASE certification in Automotive Repair or related field preferred. 4. Proven experience as an auto mechanic, with a focus on emissions testing and repair. 5. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. 6. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment. 7. Excellent communication and customer service skills. 8. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 9. Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. 10. Ability to lift and carry heavy up to 50 pounds. 11. Valid CA Driver License. 12. Minimum 2 year experience. 13. MUST be EI Certified!
