Work with various departments involved with the manufacturing process of the quoted product. This is a fast paced job and requires a balance of strong technical skills as well as great communication and ability to multitask. Summary of essential Job functions Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents Identifies labor, material, and outsourcing requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents Figure set-ups and run times based off of customer specs Quickly generate accurate estimates of time and costs to build component parts and assemblies Quotes that are won will be prepared for the manufacturing departments Verify job routings, materials and applicable Requisition Forms at time of Purchase Order Summary of secondary Job functions Create estimates/quotes for custom metal fabrications Perform other duties as assigned by management Qualifications required JobBOSS software experience is a plus Computer skills with Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook Blueprint reading Fabrication and welding knowledge Must be able to work as a team or individually without constant supervision Ability to stay self motivated and work well in a team atmosphere Must be able to do basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) Must have strong attention to detail Strong communication and organizational skills.
