GSE America supports commercial and corporate aviation industries through repair and restoration of equipment used on airport property known as Ground Support Equipment. GSE America is seeking several experienced Field Service Technicians to support various positions and expedited services. Most of our equipment is serviced in our facility, however many customers rely on us to deliver mobile service before they can securely take off or land. As integral members of the GSE America team, Field Service Technicians interact with and support our aviation customers throughout the world. Key Job Duties:

Field Service Technicians will support GSE America operations by demonstrating an eagerness to learn about new products, manufacturing partners, and the aviation business industry.

Tasks may include:

Routine inspections and maintenance System diagnostics Electrical diagnostics Hydraulic hose replacement Hydraulic filter replacement Seal and gasket replacement Engine replacement or repair Compressor replacement or repair Generator replacement or repair Transmission replacement or repair Differential replacement or repair Basic 3 phase AC motor and panel replacement, no armature work Field Service Technician will support their GSE America colleagues in all departments, which may include assisting our internal sales and service teams with various day-to-day tasks and projects in order to fulfill customer's expectations, and by assisting with the shipping of equipment throughout the world. Field Service Technician will contribute to GSE America's exceptional team by demonstrating confidence in a business setting, thinking of and communicating new ideas about service offerings and service techniques to drive value to our customers and the company, managing stressful situations with class and diplomacy, by investigating and providing feedback to our team about customer concerns, and receiving ongoing training in-house or at a GSE America's manufacturing partner facilities to ensure best practices.

Qualifications:

US citizenship Organization and cleanliness Proficiency in computer applications and internet navigation Professional speech and presentation Diligent time management skills Streamlined management of list and reminders Excellent written and verbal communication skills 5 year in-depth hydraulic and/or mechanical experience, not including facility maintenance or HVAC Valid driver's license, clean driving record Experience with medium-duty truck and trailer is preferred Prior experience or knowledge of shipping or logistics is helpful A bachelor's degree is strongly preferred, and a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
