HS 12 Help for . Opens a new window. Help for . Opens a new window. We are seeking a Direct Consumer Lending Operations Manager for the Consumer Loan Origination Department. The Direct Consumer Lending Operations Manager is responsible for managing their team and overseeing and ensuring the operational effectiveness of the Direct Consumer Lending (DCL) environment\'s processes and systems. This role involves developing and implementing procedures and internal controls to ensure accurate, compliant, and high-quality work output from other department teams. Key responsibilities include overseeing system upgrades, enhancements, and releases, coordinating testing within the department, managing ongoing business continuity processes, and handling vendor due diligence and contract management. The DCL Operations Manager also supports future innovation initiatives within assigned project team environments. Develop expertise in all DCL department operational aspects (workflows, systems, resources, processes, procedures, policies, etc.) Identify, analyze, and interpret loan production trends to recommend improvements or changes Understand future operational needs to recommend and support new policies, processes, and tools for operational improvement or monitoring Effectively design the required work and accountability map of direct reporting roles; periodically making necessary updates and changes to the accountability map Add value to direct reporting employees\' performance by providing timely coaching, counseling, feedback, annual performance reviews, and training to ensure high productivity, morale, and confidence in overall leadership Represent the DCL department as an operational stakeholder on project teamsExperience:
Required 3 years of consumer lending experience 3 years of management experience in a financial services environment Experience in cross-functional project work in a financial services environment Knowledge of lending regulatory requirements Vendor management experience Preferred Credit card industry knowledgeEducation:
Required High school graduate or equivalentSkills & Knowledge:
Required Knowledge of consumer lending function: operations, processes, and procedures Strong knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations on consumer lending. Proven ability to recognize and creatively solve problems, knowledge seeking and naturally curious Ability to manage, influence, and lead others to achieve desired results Strong verbal/written communication skills Vendor management experience Computer skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Presentation skills Self-motivated Detail orientedSchedule:
