No Duties and Responsibilities The Campus Safety Office of Loyola University Chicago is currently conducting a search for a full-time Armed Campus Police Officer. Reporting to the Watch Commander. Maintain a safe environment for the University community, faculty, staff and students. Responsibilities of this position would include maintaining a safe environment for the University community by way of patrol (foot and vehicular) of buildings, grounds, parking lots, off campus facilities and city streets within our jurisdiction. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education and/or Work Experience High school diploma or GED , successful completion of 400+hours of police academy training from a State of IL certified program and one year of related experience.Licenses:
State of Illinois certified firearms training; a current F.O.I.D. card and a valid driver's license. Qualifications Requires prior police experience in a recognized armed police department. Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Must pass an extensive background investigation, drug screening, and psychological test To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
