Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance:
Conduct thorough inspections of products to identify defects and non-conformities. Collect and analyze statistical data to monitor process performance and identify trends. Implement corrective actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.Technical Expertise:
Possess a deep understanding of product specifications, manufacturing processes, and quality standards. Utilize advanced testing equipment and techniques to evaluate product quality. Troubleshoot complex quality problems and develop innovative solutions.Data Analysis:
Analyze quality data to identify trends and root causes of issues. Generate reports and present findings to management.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with engineering, production, and other departments to ensure product quality. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing projects.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent 10+ years of experience in quality control or a related field Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred Qualifications:
Experience in welding and metal fabrication Certification in quality control or a related field Strong understanding of quality control principles and statistical process control (SPC) Proficiency in using quality control tools and software (e.g., SPC software, measurement equipment)Physical Demands:
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50pounds, and perform repetitive tasks. Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.Work Environment:
Manufacturing environment with potential exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals.Job Type:
