Full Job Description Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate loan applications and determine the eligibility of borrowers
  • Collect and analyze financial information, such as credit reports, income documentation, and bank statements
  • Review loan agreements to ensure compliance with regulations and policies
  • Calculate loan amounts, interest rates, and repayment terms
  • Collaborate with underwriters to assess risk and make lending decisions
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and resolving issues
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and changes in lending practices
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Loan Officer or similar role in the financial services industry
  • Strong knowledge of loan origination processes and underwriting guidelines
  • Familiarity with accounting software and Quicken
  • Excellent mathematical skills for calculating loan amounts, interest rates, and repayment terms
  • Knowledge of TILA (Truth in Lending Act) regulations and other relevant laws
  • Ability to analyze financial documents and make informed lending decisions
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients
