Job Description

Supervisor-Fleet Services The salary range for this position is dependent on experience level ranging from $85,900 to $118,113 depending on experience level and location. Job Summary Directs fleet mechanics in the maintenance, inspection and repair of transportation vehicles, heavy duty vehicles and equipment. Interprets and applies company repair and maintenance procedures to provide safe and reliable transportation services. Assists in the development and achievement of department goals. Ensures all repairs and maintenance activities meet federal and state regulations. Performs other duties as assigned by transportation management. Key Responsibilities + Plans, directs and supervises maintenance and repair work. Coordinates outside repairs on Company equipment as needed. Reviews vehicles and equipment repairs to ensure compliance with plans, policies and procedures. May provide training to employees when needed. (55%) + Develops and maintains monthly vehicle and equipment preventative maintenance schedule. (5%) + Records work performed and material used. Supervises inventory control and manages stock levels. (25%) + Executes corporate wide fleet preventative maintenance and repair programs. (10%) + Stays current on training, service bulletins and developments in the field. (5%) Required Qualifications +
Education & Experience Required:
+ Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience preferred. + Associates Degree with a minimum of 7 years relevant experience or High School/GED with the completion of the relevant progression program and 10 years relevant experience required. + Demonstrated knowledge of corporate wide business processes and Operations. + Experience and training as automotive, heavy duty vehicle or equipment mechanic. + Familiarity with state/federal motor vehicle laws/regulations. + Valid commercial drivers license (A endorsement). + Valid state inspector license (Class 1 & 2). + Possession of ASE master Automotive Technician and/or Master medium/heavy truck technician. + Current MACS or ASE certification in mobile air conditioning. + Possession of a valid brake inspector certification with supporting documentation as per federal regulations 395.25 (d). +
Skills/Abilities:
