- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- 3+ years experience in mechanical or electrical hardware assembly, test, and/or installation Project Kuiper is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite broadband network.
- Follow work instructions and safety procedures
- Assemble and test with emphasis to detail, an assortment of LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, avionics, or other complex aerospace builds
- Participate in process improvements, maintain floor stock inventory
- You will independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables
- Execute test procedures for component and system level testing maintenance
- Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations
- Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated
- Supports some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems
- Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients (Using pallet jacks, kit carts, etc)
- Your work may include contributing to improving SOPs and safety procedures Experience in the aerospace industry, automotive industry, medical device industry, aviation, military or other high-reliability operating environment Experience in a fast-paced production environment Experience working with
FOD, ESD
sensitive hardware and clean room requirements Experience with forklifts, cranes and heavy equipment (including previous certifications) A demonstrated ability in reading/understanding technical drawings, work instructions and standard operating procedures Some basic knowledge of electrical, optical and mechanical systems, antennas, functional testing and/or satellite components Ability to use multiple types of precision measuring instruments Ability to work effectively in a team environment Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
