JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Routinely inspecting & performing preventative maintenance HVAC systems/equipment. Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment. Responding, Identifying and repairing faults or issues Troubleshooting system failures. Reviewing and understanding how to read blueprints. Conducting maintenance repairs on old or faulty equipment. Providing suggestions for equipment replacement. Writing HVAC maintenance reports. Installing new HVAC equipment in the building. Adhering to safety and performance standards. To troubleshoot and repair systems and components and inspect and complete service requests in a timely efficient manner for the Building Maintenance department.JOB QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of work experience in a related job discipline. Preferred Qualifications EPA 608 certification Standard practices of the HVAC and refrigeration trade. Good problem-solving skills & critical thinking. Physically strong and able to stand for long periods. Analyze data from routine maintenance and identifying potential malfunctions. Excellent communication skills Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols. Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating. Experience in a Hospital work environment. Experience with electrical systems. Proficient in electrical diagnostic skills. Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools. Welding and soldering techniques.
