Execute tasks related to part production which may include cutting (saw), grinding, drill and tapping, beveling, torching, bending/forming, and any other fabricating tasks as necessary. De-bur, sand, grind, and other necessary procedures as necessary. Support and operate metal fabrication machinery and hand tools. Learn to operate machines safely and responsibly with proper steps, tooling, and lubrication to ensure optimal operation, limited downtime, and long machine life. Conduct regular inspections of parts and finished product to identify any defects, ensuring only high-quality and acceptable items are approved to be sold or sent to downstream operations. Learn how to effectively read prints for efficient and accurate part production. Unload and organize a high volume of parts after being processed from fabrication work center. Assist the laser department in de-nesting cut parts from the laser machines. Effectively sort and stack a high volume and variety of parts from laser. Be able to identify and sort parts that are similar in size and shape. Carefully stack and pack finished product following fabrication procedure to be staged for movement to the next location. Safely handle raw materials and fabricated products using appropriate tools and equipment to minimize the risk of damage or injury. Wear and utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment when performing tasks. Work closely with fabrication and production team to maintain open communication and efficiently achieve production targets.Location :

7:00am to 4:30pm Monday - Friday (40hrs + 5hrs overtime per week)Pay:
$20.00-$23.00/hour Depending onExperience Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1-3 years related experience in metal fabrication or a manufacturing production environment.Hand Tool Experience:
Grinding, Sanding, Polishing Machine Experience:
Bend Machine, Saw, Laser Machine experience is preferred. Forklift certification or ability to acquire the certification is a plus.Required Licensing/Registration/Certification:
Valid Driver's License Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.Required Skills:
Strong attention to detail with ability to focus on a given task. Enthusiastic about learning new skills and technology. Effective time-management tactical approach to work prioritization.
