Anderson Fire Protection- A woman/minority owned Sprinkler Company, established in 1989, has an immediate opening for a fire sprinkler designer.
WE ARE LOCALLY/PRIVATLY OWNED AND OPERATED!
Tired of the Corporate rat race, lets chat! We design and install fire sprinklers for all types of applications including wet, dry, preaction, deluge, fire alarm, etc. We perform installs in all types of settings including large and small residential, schools, government buildings, historical retrofit, fire stations, commercial construction, tenant fit outs, Warehouses, etc. We perform projects of all sizes and scopes from the mild to wild! We are looking for someone with 5 years of experience as a sprinkler designer. Nicet Certifications and HYDRAcad experience a plus. The responsibilities of the chosen candidate include: Process and clean up CADD files from A/E firms. Design sprinkler systems including coordination (3D/BIM) using the
HYDRACAD
program. Hydraulically calculate sprinkler systems for submission. Prepare material submittals, drawing submission packages, etc. for submission to the GC/CM and/or AHJ. Prepare fab lists and field drawings for installation Perform Site visits and attend project meetings as needed. Assist in Project management. Prepare close out documents (as built drawings) This list is only a brief overview of what shall be required/expected.
