• Job Summary
• Installs, maintains, and repairs industrial equipment and facility infrastructure by performing the following duties.
• Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities
• + Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatics, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.

+ Locates sources of problems by observation; using precision measuring and testing instruments. + Troubleshoots 480Vac power systems and 120Vac electrical controls. + Uses calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments for determining dimensional data of components. + Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges. + Uses electrical meters to identify voltage, current, capacitance, resistance, etc. of various types of electrical circuits. + Able to communicate with various levels of personnel (Maintenance leadership, production leadership, and equipment operators). + Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment. + Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt. + Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. + Dismantles and reassembles machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts. + Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment, as directed. + Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. + Rigs equipment for installation or relocation, as directed. + Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables. + Replaces faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, motors, positions sensing devices, and printed circuit boards. + Replaces electric motor bearings and rewires motors. + Plans layout of wiring and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings. + Diagnoses and replaces faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment. + Possesses knowledge of robotic machinery. + Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. + Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks. + Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. + Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. + Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Job Requirements:

• + This position requires a minimum of high school diploma or general education degree. Minimum of 5 years industrial experience in a manufacturing setting. + Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, water, PLC, welding, or analytical troubleshooting required.

• Compensation:

• $30/hr.-$40/hr.
