Our South St. Louis team is seeking Automotive Recycling Techs to produce quality parts for our valued customers. As a Dismantle Tech, your responsibilities will include basic quality inspections and removing inventoried parts from end of life vehicles with your own tools. This position offers an outdoor covered work environment in your own space and includes frequent bending, reaching, and lifting over 50lbs, in all weather conditions. The position offers Monday through Friday 8 hour day shifts. No weekends. You must supply your own automotive mechanics tools for this position. Remove from vehicle, quality check, and stock automotive parts in our warehouses. Write detailed notes after dismantle is complete detailing condition or defects in automotive components. Collaborate with other techs and management to solve problems in a positive manner. Display commitment to learn new technologies and methods within the rapidly changing automotive industry. Maintain a clean space and professional work environment to adhere to company policies on production and safety. Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, may include light/heavy lifting, bending, and squatting. Safely operate forklifts while transporting automobiles and parts through the facility. Qualifications Include (but not limited to) Possess your own automotive mechanical tools High School Diploma or GED Be able to read, understand, and utilize diagrams and instructions. Excellent problem-solving skills Excellent communication and computer skills. Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous automotive experience in a majority of automotive areas including exhaust, auto body, and mechanical systems. You must own your own tools.
