Full Job Description Overview:

NRHS is in the process of a transformational expansion project that will prioritize outpatient care with a continued focus on population health across the region. Responsibilities:
Performs duties of a licensed practical nurse as prescribed by the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act. Contributes to the development of a plan of care and follows through with such plan for selected patients. Administers medication with a high degree of safety and accuracy. Maintains the exam rooms and work environment. Documents nursing care and activities. Assists with patient care and monitors patients during procedures. Assists with the training of other staff. Assists departmental assistant with clinical matters.
Qualifications:
Education High school diploma or equivalent required Completion of an accredited LPN program Experience Medical office experience preferred, but not required. Priority on providing excellent patient care. Must be comfortable communicating with patients and other medical staff. Must like working in a busy fast paced environment, have excellent attention to detail, and comfortable with technology including computers, faxes and phones. (Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience) Licensure/Certification Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained for duration of employment. Compensation/Benefits $17.39-$28.40/hr depending on previous work experience.
