CNC Machine Operator Stillwell Inc. 12401 Washburn Avenue South, Burnsville, MN 55337

Overview:

As a Machining operator at Stillwell, you will operate and maintain machinery in a manufacturing setting. You will be responsible for ensuring the machine produces high quality products, runs smoothly and at capacity, and is properly maintained.

Machining Manager Duties/Responsibilities:

• Set up machinery for operation.
• Start Machinery and make adjustments to machinery when necessary to improve performance.
• Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions.
• Identify issues with the machinery.
• Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor.
• Comply with all safety and health regulations.
• Maintains a clean work area.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Clean machinery and maintain clean tools.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Understanding of production and plant processes

• Ability to read blueprints
• Knowledge of Machining tools
• Ability to use inspection equipment

Education and Experience:

• High school Diploma or GED
• Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility, or similar relevant experience

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing, bending or walking.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time repeatedly.
• Must be able to lift and twist with 25 pounds repeatedly
