RMC is hiring an IT Lab Systems Support Specialist to support our customer in Dahlgren, VA.

The selected applicant will:

Provide customer support in installation of IT Hardware/Software to support lab simulation launching kinetic weapons from various platforms. Configure IT Hardware and Software in lab to support customer needs. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as upgrading hardware/software and installing required patches to ensure optimal performance of lab equipment. Conduct operational tests on lab equipment to ensure system availability and reliability. Conduct required troubleshooting procedures of IT hardware and software to maintain availability of lab equipment. Manage account access to lab equipment. Maintain detailed records of hardware configurations, troubleshooting steps, and other relevant information. Communicate technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences. Requirements Active DoD Secret clearance is required to start. H.S. Diploma or GED IAT Level II (Information Assurance Technical) or higher

under specialty area 45(Security+) within 60 days of start. Five (5) years of experience with demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate the installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.

Demonstrated ability to:

plan or schedule the installation of new or modified hardware, operating systems and applications software; manage accounts, access to systems and equipment; maintain systems configuration; and manage the installation and integration of systems fixes, updates and enhancements. The current salary range for this position will be $85,000 to $125,000 annually.
