Operations Coordinator/Manager ABC Kortsch 2403 North Maryland Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53211 About Us ABC Kortsch is not your traditional moving company. We provide white-glove furniture services to the interior design and hospitality industry, as well as household moves. We also offer short- and long-term warehouse solutions. We are seeking an Operations Coordinator/Manager to lead the day-to-day activities of our moving crew and serve as the main point of contact for new and existing clients. This position required at least 2 years of moving experience at another moving company (moving yourself from home to home will not count.) The ideal candidate for this role will be a strong, high-energy leader committed to delivering great outcomes and meeting the highest standards. The candidate must have a valid driver's license, an excellent driving record, and the ability to follow directions and policies, think critically, and pay attention to detail. All positions require the ability to lift heavy items (minimum of 100lbs) and provide exceptional customer service. Candidates must complete a 1-month probationary period in the warehouse and on the road. After successful completion of the probationary period, a wage increase will be negotiated based on performance and abilities. The Operations Coordinator/Manager will report directly to the company owners. Qualifications The title and pay range for the role will be determined based on the following criteria: Operations Management Experience in the moving industry Fulfillment of probationary period The minimum qualifications for this role are as follows: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required. An associate or bachelor's degree in a similar discipline is preferred. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work additional hours during the week as needed, including occasional weekend hours. High attention to detail and quality. Valid Wisconsin driver's license with a good driving record. Excellent computer and technology skills. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities:

Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 75 pounds. Manage warehouse inventory systems Direct crew members. Assist with implementing new processes to increase efficiency Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or services. Operate a delivery vehicle in a safe and responsible manner. Prep, load, unload, and install furniture safely and efficiently. Follow company policy regarding the handling of items. Complete paperwork accurately. Provide excellent customer service. Maintain a professional appearance. Inspect and maintain delivery vehicles and supplies. Constantly advance moving skills. Responsible for minor office maintenance, including trash/recycling and snow/ice removal from the office space. Hiring additional crew members
