We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Track Hoe Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate heavy machinery to assist in the construction and installation of solar energy projects. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring that our projects are completed efficiently and safely.Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate track hoe equipment for excavation, grading, and site preparation related to solar projects. Work with project managers and site supervisors to prepare construction sites, including digging trenches, leveling land, and moving materials as needed. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular equipment inspections and reporting any issues or hazards. Work closely with other team members, including laborers and supervisors, to ensure smooth operations and effective communication on-site. Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance. Keep accurate records of work performed, including daily logs of activities and equipment usage.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred. Proven experience operating track hoes or similar heavy machinery, preferably in construction or renewable energy projects. Strong understanding of safety practices and procedures in heavy equipment operation. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
