$28/hr Responsibilities of the
Electro-Mechanical Technician:
Build, repair, rework and align complex assemblies, such as network or communications racks cable raceways/conduit and unit alignments that require the constant monitoring and maintaining of critical tolerances. Will disassemble, troubleshoot and repair subassemblies to achieve proper alignment for final assembly. Distinguish, identify and correct problems of form, fit or function in assemblies by using specialized techniques and knowledge acquired through a high degree of exposure in building assemblies requiring close physical tolerances. Uses appropriate tools and fixtures to assist with the installation or complete the installation of parts, sub-assemblies, and modifications to include measuring, cutting, fitment, adjusting, drilling, riveting as applicable. Use of various tools such as rivet guns, drills, sanders, grinders, routers and other tooling and equipment as needed. Maintain a clean, safe work area. Requirements of the
Electro-Mechanical Technician:
Requires a high school education or equivalent and a minimum of 6 months+ of related experience. Must be able to read, write and interpret blueprints and electrical assembly diagrams. Must have basic mechanical skills to maintain equipment. Able to read tape measure and convert from decimals to fractions, read blueprints. Exhibit initiative and commitment to continuous improvement. Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds. May be required to wear a company-provided safety harness when working in elevated areas. Must be able to perform all subordinate tasks required to accomplish the above duties and perform other related duties as required. Electro-Mechanical Technicians apply today!
