Job Description
We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join our team. This position is for a senior-level welder for TIG and MIG welding of stainless steel and aluminum vacuum chambers, frames, and fixtures. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in TIG welding of stainless steel or aluminum plates.

Responsibilities:
- Welding of stainless steel or aluminum plate using TIG and MIG welding techniques
- Proficient in layout skills.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to determine specifications for welding projects.
- Performing quality checks on completed work to ensure the finished product meets specifications.
- Experience with manual lathes, mills, Iron Worker, metal rolls, grinding and rolling processes, and saws a plus.
- Maintaining a safe and organized work environment
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to process improvements
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high level of quality.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work with our engineering team and communicate properly.
- Must have a high focus on safety and the ability to learn and follow LACO's safety standards.
- We need a hard-working individual who is dependable and on time to work each day.
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Minimum of 7 years of welding experience
- Experience in vacuum chamber welding helpful
- Experience building big parts 60" and bigger
Job Details:
Shift:
5 days/week Monday-Friday Full-Time. There is also the option of a 9/80 work schedule where you will get every other Friday off.Pay:
Hourly rate: $25.00 to $30.00 an hour depending on experienceBenefits:
