High School Diploma or Equivalent 3 to 5 years Electrical Maintenance experience. Trade school or vo-tech with emphasis on industrial electronics, instrumentation and thermograph. Ability to interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings. Must be competent in utilizing SAP software and Microsoft Office. Must complete the training required in the top 85% of the score possible and complete in the required time to retain the position. Infrared Thermography Certification Level I. Good physical condition as position may require bending, kneeling, walking, standing, climbing, stairs and lifting; high degree of manual dexterity and coordination and good eye/hand coordination.What you will do:
Performs maintenance activities related to thermography monitoring program for plant facilities. Assists in the development and implementation of predictive and proactive maintenance techniques and predictive analysis methods in achieving higher equipment reliability and lower maintenance costs. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on plant and quarry equipment. Remove and replace defective parts or components. Assist in the record-keeping of the thermography-based monitoring software database. Perform operational checks of equipment after repairs are made. Use blueprints, manuals and other directions needed to troubleshoot and correct reported discrepancies. Conduct analysis of thermography trending data, infrared inspections and oil sampling data. Requisition parts and supplies, as needed. Must work in high places and under adverse conditions. Work in conjunction with cranes. Will maintain a safe working environment, adhere to safety policies and practices, perform daily housekeeping of assigned areas, perform daily workplace inspections, and adhere to plant policies and proper use of plant radios. Be familiar with MSHA safety rules, safety procedures for plant mobile equipment, lockout/Tagout policy, confined space permit policy, hot work policy, emergency response plan, arc flash/shock and burn protection, proper containment and disposal process (via Waste Management Plan) for lubricants, paints/solvents and other environmentally sensitive materials. Ensure quality of work performed, participate in continuous improvement system, observe and promote best practices, good time management and be able to troubleshoot/analyze root cause failure. Create notifications and work orders based on recommendations identified from analysis of data collected. Will work where and when needed as directed by plant supervisory personnel to meet plant needs.Who we are:
