POSITION SUMMARY
The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for department mail distribution and scanning/routing of invoices for coding and approval Ensure all invoices are processed for payment in an accurate and timely manner Research and resolve all past due balances or disputes Identify opportunities to streamline Accounts Payable processes, enhance efficiency, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Consistently refine skills and broaden expertise in Accounts Payable processes Assist with systems testing as needed Assist with other duties as assigned Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
2-4 years of experience working in Accounts Payable with a high school education (an equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered) Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered Positive, professional attitude and excellent customer service skills Well-developed written and verbal communication skills Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to work well within a deadline driven environment Perform functions efficiently and accurately with little direction supervision
