Job Description

Payroll/Accounting Specialist Pruhs Construction Company, LLC 2193 Viking Drive, Anchorage, AK 99501 The ideal candidate will be a hard-working and presentable professional, able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and interfacing with outside vendors/customers as well as fellow employees.
Hours:
Full time, M-F, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with 1 hour for lunch
Compensation:
DOE + benefits (Health Insurance, 401K, PTO)

Required:
Highschool diploma of GED 3-5 years payroll processing 3-5 years working in Accounts Payable & Receivable Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Proficient with Sage 100 Must be willing to submit to pre-employment drug test and participate in company drug testing program. Ability to communicate in a professional manner via phone and/or email Valid driver's license and personal vehicle
Preferred:
Prior experience with construction accounting and administration procedures Prior experience with HH2 Associates or Bachelors' degree in Accounting or Business Management or related field. Responsibilities - The ideal candidate will have the proper time management skills to ensure all responsibilities are completed in a timely fashion with minimal supervision. New hire paperwork and creation/management of employee history and files Process weekly payroll Certified payroll Submitting/managing payroll taxes Assisting with Accounts Payable & Receivable Mail sorting and distribution Answer mainline phone and direct calls Greet and direct visitors Manage drug testing program Filing as need Monitor office inventory and reorder when necessary Other duties as assigned
