Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, backhoes, excavators, dozers, lulls, and forklifts, for civil and site work, and material handling functions on a municipal, commercial, industrial projects. Must have a valid drivers license and motor vehicle record that meets company standards Must possess required licenses (Rhode Island Hoisting License 2A 1C) Must have an OSHA 10 certificate (minimum requirement, further safety and industry specific certifications preferred) Responsibilities/Physical Demands Ability to lift 50 pounds Ability to stand for extended periods of time, and safely maneuver around the nearby presence of various construction equipment and vehicles, on an active construction site Able to separate materials on efficiently on site. Able to communicate with General Contractor. Maintain a safe job site. Prepared to regularly encounter moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, and a variety of outside weather conditions Able to climb temporary or permanent stairs, and ladders Able to bend, squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, balance and stoop, reach on a regular basis Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus Skills that will help you succeed in this position: Leadership Qualities Listening skills Team Oriented Detail Oriented Sense of Urgency Communication Being punctual and on time everyday.
