Full Job Description Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Support Manager to provide in market hotel specific support where assigned. This role will be overseeing 1 to 4 hotels in a market at any time to lead sales efforts, and support operations of the hotels. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Analysis & Prospecting:
Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning; adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Lead Generation:
Work with the hotel teams to help sell and close SLT Leads, Lot Drives, and any other Hot Leads uncovered.
In Market Sales Support:
Lead /assist Sales Blitz and sales efforts for existing focus hotels, transition hotels, and new hotels openings in your assigned market.
Client Relationships:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, and other drivers to gain group business and long-term partnerships.
Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, operations, and revenue management teams to ensure alignment of sales initiatives and maximize overall performance.
Hotel Operations Support:
Help local hotel team as needed to make sure hotel is clean, safe, and ready to sell.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED. 1+ years of sales experience. Hospitality Sales preferred, but cars, retail, product sales are also welcome. Proven track record of achieving sales targets. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform strategic decisions. Good organization, record keeping, and time management skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Overnight travel is needed across the region up to 100% of the time while on assignment.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time. Must be able to access and navigate organizational systems, sales systems, and different PMS systems for your assigned hotels.
