Full Job Description Key Responsibilities:
  • Preventative Maintenance. Collaborate with Plant Manager to develop and execute comprehensive preventative maintenance schedules for all equipment, conduct routine inspections, lubrication, and adjustments to ensure equipment operates at peak efficiency, and maintain accurate maintenance records.
  • Equipment Repairs. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on both fixed and mobile equipment, oversee and perform maintenance and repair tasks, including welding and fabrication, and order and manage spare parts and replacement components.
  • Team Leadership. Lead a cross-functional team in maintenance tasks providing guidance, training, and supervision. Delegate tasks and ensure team members adhere to safety protocols and maintenance standards.
  • Safety and Compliance . Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with safety regulations. Investigate and report any safety incidents or near-misses, and implement corrective actions. Promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team.
  • Continuous Improvement .
Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance, reliability, and efficiency. Monitor equipment performance metrics and suggest improvements.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician, with a strong background in both fixed and mobile equipment.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting & repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Strong commitment to safety and maintaining a neat and clean working environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to maintenance emergencies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Full-time Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
